Itinerary

At 8:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel within the Nairobi city centre area and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Lunch will be at a restaurant on the way. In the evening at 4.30pm depart for a sunset game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve where chances of seeing the big cats is extremely high.

Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting.
Maasai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai Mara is the wonder of the world.

Dinner and Overnight at the Camp

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 pm, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

Optional: In the evening, Visit the local Maasai village for a Maasai cultural tour at US$ 20. Learn about the Maasai community and interact with the local Maasai people. An overnight at the Maasai village can be organized upon request.

A balloon safari at USD 480 per person can be organized early morning on this day then proceed with the normal program. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

You will take an early breakfast, followed by the last early morning game drive in Mara Reserve .Thereafter commence the drive to Nakuru. Dinner and Overnight at a budget hotel

Lake Nakuru in Kenya boasts an abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Think black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs and hippo occupying euphorbia forests, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands and rocky escarpments around a shallow, alkaline lake.

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am to straight to the park. It’s a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos. The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at hotel Taphe.

In the afternoon, go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Dinner and Overnight at a hotel

Breakfast at the resort and thereafter proceed to Hell’s Gate for biking safari with a visit to the gorges.

At around 11 am, drive to a Hotel for lunch. After lunch, drive back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel or airport.
