5-Day Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha Group Camping Safari

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at around 8:30 am and then make your way to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. You'll stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint along the way. After a picnic lunch, you will make your way into the Mara and then proceed on an evening game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Camp (or similar).

After an early breakfast, you will make your way into this unique park with a picnic lunch in hand. You will have the chance to visit the Mara River, which borders the Mara and the Serengeti. There will be a large concentration of animals here during the time you will be traveling! All meals and your overnight stay will be at the budget camp.

After an early morning game drive, you will return for a late breakfast and then make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. If time permits, you can go for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha’s Crescent Island. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Lanet Matfam Hotel or Golden Palace.

After an early breakfast, you will spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the chance to see some of the 350 bird species that have been recorded here. This is also home to the black and white rhinoceros. Indeed, this park was established for the protection of species such as the rhino, Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and a variety of plain antelope. Afterward, you will depart to the nearby Lake Naivasha, eating a picnic lunch along the way. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Taphe Guest House.

After an early breakfast, you will proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will have a chance to visit the geothermal power plant in Ol Karia and the hot springs. This is the only park that allows you to get around both on foot or by bike. You may go for an optional boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can watch hippos and other wild animals. After lunch, you will make your way to Nairobi, arriving in time for a 5:00 pm drop-off at your hotel.
