3-DAY MASAI MARA – WILDEBEEST MIGRATION SAFARI 2023
For this Kenya safari you will get to witness the Great Annual Wildebeest migration in Masai Mara between July and September. You will come face to face with some of the Big Five that include Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Meet the Masai warriors who are native to The Masai Mara and learn their culture. Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
You will be picked up in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi by our well experienced driver guide. He will welcome you and provide you with a short briefing on your safari before you will start the journey to Masai Mara. You will stop for about one hour on the way to have lunch in a designated restaurant. The route to Masai Mara is very scenic, passing through the highlands from where you have beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley below. You traverse the sprawling Loita Plains to arrive in Masai Mara in time for an afternoon/evening game drive inside Masai Mara. You might encounter the Big Five. In the evening you will return to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara
You will be served an early morning breakfast between 07.00 and 08.00 hours after which you will start a full day of exploring the expansive Masai Mara Game Reserve. Here you can see the Big Five (Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard), watch Cheetahs hunting or even spot a leopard. Plenty of Antelopes, the Zebras, Giraffes and Gnus populate the Mara plains, too. This day you also visit Mara River where hippos are in plenty. A Picnic Lunch will be served in a designated location inside the park. We can also arrange for an optional visit a traditional Masai Village or even take a hot air balloon ride over the plains of Masai Mara.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
You will begin the day with an early morning game drive from 06.30 to 08.30 hours. The pre-breakfast game drive gives you good chances to see Big Cats hunting or sharing a kill. Some of the elusive animals like the leopard may be seen at this hour. You return to the camp for breakfast and leave thereafter for Nairobi with lunch on the way to arrive in the late afternoon at your hotel or the airport.
