The safari is 4 days, 2 nights in Masai Mara and 1 night in Lake Nakuru. It is a group safari with accommodation for 2 nights in a tented camp in Masai Mara and 1-night accommodation in a budget 2-star hotel in Nakuru town. All meals are included while on this safari.
Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel around 7.00 am and meet up with other travelers and depart Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. You will arrive in Maasai Mara late in the afternoon or early evening and then proceed for a game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Day 2: Full-Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will leave with a picnic lunch packed for you. You will spend a full day exploring this unique
park which forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. The game drive will be up to the Mara River returning late in the evening for meals and your overnight stay at the camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park
You will have a pre-morning game drive and then depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru with a game drive en-route. You will have a picnic lunch en-route. You are going to arrive in Nakuru early in the evening and check into the hotel. You’ll have dinner and your overnight stay at the Golden Palace Hotel.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which is world-renowned for its masses of flamingos and is often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. Besides birds, it is possible to see small game like waterbuck, impala, rhino and buffalo in the surrounding gardens. After lunch, depart to Nairobi arriving at around 4/5 pm in the evening.
